Hello Wonder Wife Bakery!
Today I got a chance to reflect on God's enduring love and His beautiful heart. Wonder Wife Bakery was not a regular small business during it's time in Mobile, AL.
It was God's business!
And it was the most special journey that I ever embarked on together with Him. God was in that kitchen with me making those award winning King Cakes & cinnamon rolls that the community LOVED so much.
Not a lot of people know the origins of the Bakery's name, "Wonder Wife Bakery".
I used to joke around and tell people that I named it that way because Wonder Ex-Wife Bakery didn't sound nearly as nice.
I started the bakery after an awful and painful divorce. I always felt that I had the heart of a 'wife' and I refused to let my circumstances change who I believed God created me to be.
And despite those circumstances, God always had a hand in things, even in picking out the name of this wonderful bakery. God reminded me of who I Am in Him when he inspired me to name the bakery 'Wonder Wife'.
It's been a few years since my absence and every day I sill hold out hope that God will ordain that this bakery will one day make a COME BACK!
Along the way in this journey, I met a woman name Caroline at a gas station where I was delivering a dozen of my cinnamon rolls. She was more than happy to try one for herself.
Little did I know, God had meant for us to meet that day so that the legacy of Wonder Wife Bakery would continue to live on in a special way even after I departed from the city.

That means that each time I visit Caroline's small business, I am reminded that she holds a powerful legacy that was seeded in me by God and she continues to share God's love in the community of Mobile, AL in a very special way!
