White Acre Flowers

White Acre Flowers Rooted in joy, blooming with purpose. I’ve been growing flowers ever since I was a little girl and flower farming since 2022.

Each stem is a whisper of gratitude and each bouquet a story shared.

Hello and welcome! I thought it might be time to reintroduce myself and the faces behind White Acre Flowers.

I’m Regina Whitaker, owner and operator of White Acre Flowers, alongside my husband, David. We began flower farming in 2022, turning a love of growing things into a family venture that continues to grow each season.

Like many small farmers, flower farming isn’t our full-time job. David and I both work full-time careers in addition to tending the farm. We have also had the privilege of raising two wonderful young men, Cole and Joshua.

Our farm family also includes our two dogs, Meg and Murphy, and our four cats: Obiwan, MissFit, Katniss, and Prim. They all seem to think they play an important role around here.

One of my greatest joys is watching a tiny seed transform into a beautiful bloom. It’s rewarding to see months of planning, planting, nurturing, and waiting finally come to life in the field. I spend countless hours researching varieties, studying growing techniques, learning about soil health, evaluating fertilizers, and exploring the best natural methods for pest management. Every season is an opportunity to learn something new and grow better flowers.

In addition to flower farming, we are also an apiary. David manages our bees, and caring for them is an important part of what we do. Healthy pollinators are essential to a thriving farm, and we take great pride in providing a habitat where both flowers and bees can flourish together.

Flower farming is beautiful, but it’s also hard work. It means early mornings, long days, unpredictable weather, and plenty of trial and error. You truly have to love it to keep showing up day after day. Without a doubt this spring has been the most labor intensive yet, but we love growing flowers, caring for the land, supporting pollinators, and sharing the beauty of each season with all of you.

Whether you’ve been following since the beginning or you’re new to our page, thank you for being here and supporting our little farm. We are grateful to share this journey with you.
