Frequently asked questions.
Q. Will you be using my water when pressure washing?
A. Yes, all pressure washing companies do unless it’s a very specific situation. It is a common misconception that pressure washers use excessive amounts of water. Furthermore it is actually significantly cheaper to allow us to use your water when considering the fact that even 12 hours of continuous pressure washing would only result in, at MOST, a $20 dollar increase in the water bill compared to what would have to charged (hundreds of dollars) to transport a couple tons of water to your home.
Q. But Josh, I see pressure washing businesses all the time driving around with big tanks, they’re bringing their own water right?
A. Great question! However those tanks you’re seeing are filled with cleaning solution that is used as a pre treatment prior to the pressure washing process. The bulk of the water is still coming from the homes water, which is ok and, as mentioned, cheaper as well!
Q. Can you pressure wash my house or the roof?
A. I can absolutely clean your homes siding or roof! However, it will be through a process known as “soft washing” not pressure washing. Soft washing is the process of cleaning through the application of a chemical cleaner, pressure washing can actually damage your vinyl siding and the shingles on your roof.
Q. Will the chemicals you use harm the plants and flowers around my home?
A. Crowley Curb Appeal takes several measures in order to mitigate any risk to the plant life around your home. We pre soak all plants with water prior, during, and after the cleaning process as well as provide physical barriers with tarps and plastic where needed. Your plants are in good hands!
Q. What payment options do you offer?
A. We accept check, cash, Venmo and cash app as well as Taco Bell gift cards. Ok maybe not that last one. 😁
