Hi Everyone!

I wanted to check in and let you know that Francis was born on May 8th and we are both doing really well. With our new addition to the family, I will not be able to participate in the Beecher Farmers Market this season. Hopefully, I'll bump into you while I do my market shopping.

Hello Beecher Farmers Market!

I'll have my Ginger Cookies made with homemade Candied Ginger and Candied Pecans tomorrow for the Christmas Market. Packaged in festive cookie tins, these can be enjoyed now or saved for Christmas gifts.

Next up, Sourdough Sandwich Loaves readying for the oven. Made with all organic ingredients and local honey from Hello Honey, these loaves are baked in glass loaf pans and greased with real butter for that extra good crust.

Another healthy snack fresh out of the dehydrator. Honeycrisp Apple Chips. Of all the apple varieties I have dried, I think Honeycrisp dries up the sweetest.

Side note: It amazes me how much the apple slices shrink. Each apple chip is 10% of its originally weight. Concentrated goodness!

Come on out Saturday for the Beecher Farmers Market and try RhizHomes, LLC Homemade Granola. Packed with oats, puffed rice, nuts and seeds while held together with Sourdough starter and natural sweeteners, like honey from Hello Honey and maple syrup. Makes for a great yogurt topper, cereal, or a snack all on it's own. I also ferment the granola for an hour to allow for easier digestion and increased nutrient availability.
