Getting ready to break ground on another commercial security project! 🚧📸

We are preparing to trench and run underground cabling for new high powered PTZ cameras and dedicated license plate recognition cameras.

This is much more than simply recording video.

The new PTZ camera will provide:

What an awesome couple of days this past weekend at Girls With Grit BUILD ’26 in Denver! 🔥

First, a huge shoutout to Crystal Bedel and Shawn Bedel for inviting DelRae and me to be a part of this event. We truly appreciate the invite and the opportunity to be in a room surrounded by so many successful, driven people.

I may not be a Realtor 😂 that’s definitely DelRae Vasquez - CO Realtor’s world, but one thing I’ve learned as a business owner is that good business principles translate into almost every industry.

There were some incredible people on that stage.

From Jared James talking business, marketing and growth, to Leo Pareja, CEO of eXp Realty, sharing leadership and industry perspective. We heard from entrepreneurs and leaders like Dustin Runyon, who has built and coached high performing organizations, Nick Krem on using AI in business, and Cody Walker on building systems and creating multiple sources of business instead of relying on just one.

There were also some great lessons on leadership, culture, relationships, branding, social media, building teams and creating businesses that can actually scale.

Shoutout to the Girls With Grit founders Jamie Tulak, Lauren Rocco and Tara McCarthy, and to the entire speaker lineup: Jared James, Leo Pareja, Brent Gove, Kacie Anderson, Tony King, Nick Krem, Dustin Runyon, Gwenivere Snyder, James Dwiggins, Rebecca & Josue Soto, Levi Lascsak, Cody Walker, Mario Victorica, Tyler Blair, Carrie Zeier and Justen Martin.

That was a TON of knowledge packed into two days.

For me, one of the biggest takeaways was realizing that you don’t have to be in the same industry to learn from someone else’s success.

I’m always looking for ways to make myself a better leader, build better systems, market smarter, take care of our customers, strengthen our team and continue growing Delta Security Systems the right way.

And getting to experience events like this alongside my wife and friends makes it even better. I love watching DelRae continue to grow in her business while I’m able to take some of those same lessons and figure out how they apply to mine.

Different industries. Same principles. Relationships, consistency, leadership, systems, service and ex*****on.
