Before (left) and after (right) pictures. Taking out a gas fireplace and installing an electric fireplace. Also got rid of the big insert hole for the older tv styles and made a work bench in the little storage room behind that wall. Added shiplap as an accent wall. The whole look turned out great. 👍🏻

It is with a very heavy heart that I say goodbye to one of the greatest men and mentors I’ve ever known of course I’m talking about my dad of course like many of you dance or just bigger than life to me mine especially was for a man with only a sixth grade education and never really learned to read until he was in his 50s. He was also a man that owned several businesses in his life while I was growing up.

You know it’s funny when most people think about their dad and the memories of their dad they think of who taught them how to ride a bike or play catch or go fishing or maybe even taught them how to drive but that was not my dad my dad didn’t care about any of those things except for the driving part What he did care about was teaching me and my brother how to do things and how to do it with a work ethic that people appreciate. My father was a mentor to many. He was truly a man that amazed people, his whole life. They once tested his IQ level and he tested up in the genius level. How does someone with a seventh grade education do that. 
He taught me so much and I will miss him and his wisdom every day!

Just finished up this job.
I had to tear down this old tile ceiling, come to find out there was another old tile ceiling underneath this one, installed new sheet rock, finished and painted then installed trim all the way around ceiling in the customers downstairs living room and laundry room. Also installed 11 new LED lights. Six of those lights were on one dimmer switch, 3 on another dimmer switch and installed switch for 2 new lights in laundry room. Very happy customers which makes me very happy.
