The Town Wide Clean-up was a great success as residents filled 3 Republic dumpsters with trash and one Dumes dumpster with scrap metal/metal objects.
A big "Thank You" to Council Members Matt Powell, Jeff Hageman, and Michael Johnson for each volunteering a day to be at the Town Hall, helping residents empty their cars, trucks, and trailers and filling the dumpsters!

**Do not forget, tomorrow, Monday, June 15th, Water/Wastewater bills are due!**

**Attention Monroe City Residents**.

We have an empty dumpster that just arrived if anyone has anything that needs dropped off! You can drop things off until 6pm tonight and I am here to help you unload and I have the tractor with bucket if it’s heavy!

A big "Thank You!" to Knox County Recycling for working towards reopen the recycling center in Monroe City!!!

📢 Monroe City Recycling Center Reopening! ♻️

We are pleased to announce that the Monroe City Recycling Center will reopen on Thursday, June 11, and return to its regular operating schedule.

🕑 Thursday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
🕗 Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Thank you to our residents for your patience and understanding during the recent temporary closure. We appreciate your continued support of recycling efforts in Knox County and are excited to resume service to the Monroe City community.

We look forward to seeing you back at the site beginning Thursday!
