Stools. We dried the blocks in the basement so they would dry slow for a year. End grain was coated with tung oil to slo...

Stools. We dried the blocks in the basement so they would dry slow for a year. End grain was coated with tung oil to slow down the drying. Then stored in a heated garage for 4 years. Not much cracking.

Refinished the top. Made the table 16 years ago. Made out of old growth Doug Fir tongue & groove barn floor.
