Back in March, Jess and I headed down to Florida to go on a cruise. We decided to stop for the night in Dunnellon, Florida—a town neither one of us had ever heard of before.

After doing a little research to see what was around, we decided our first stop before even checking into the hotel would be Rainbow Springs State Park.

When we first pulled in, I wasn't really sure what to think. We drove down this long road to the parking lot and there wasn't much to see. I was starting to wonder if we had picked the wrong place.

Then we walked over the hill and saw this… 😮💦

The water was absolutely beautiful! Turquoise and blue-green and so clear it almost didn't look real. But what surprised us even more was everything else we found—waterfalls, gardens, hiking trails, wildlife and some really interesting history that we had no idea was there.

It ended up being one of those unexpected stops that you're really glad you made.

One of my go-to lunch spots in Rock Hill, SC! 🌯🔥 Salsarita’s has been a favorite of mine for years. Fresh food, friendly folks, and y’all… those seasoned chips dipped in queso get me every time! 🤤

Every now and then, you find something that quietly becomes part of your routine.

For me, that’s been kombucha.

I’ve been drinking it for close to 20 years, and over the years I’ve even made my own. When I’m not brewing it, there’s one brand I seem to keep coming back to.

I recently tried a flavor I hadn’t had before, and… well, you’ll have to watch the video to see if it earned a spot at the top of my list. 🍍

Sometimes a picture has to hold you over until the video drops…

This morning’s breakfast was one of my favorites—Toad in the Hole, seasoned with Heath Riles BBQ SPG Seasoning. Simple, hearty, and one of those meals that reminds you great food doesn’t have to be complicated.

If you look up in the corner of the plate, you’ll spot some homemade smoked venison summer sausage with jalapeño and cheese. I don’t think breakfast gets much better than that.

The best part? I filmed the entire recipe from start to finish, and I’ll be sharing it soon. This is just a little teaser to hold you over. Trust me… you’re going to want to save this one. 🍳🥓
