I recently completed a project installing and painting traditional wood outdoor lattice. The process started with measuring and cutting the lattice panels to ensure a proper fit for the outdoor space. I carefully secured the lattice using weather-resistant fasteners to make sure it was strong, stable, and built to last.

After installation, I prepared the wood surface by cleaning and sanding it to remove rough spots and help the paint bond properly. Proper preparation is important to protect the wood from weather and extend the life of the lattice. Once prepped, I applied exterior-grade paint evenly to provide protection against moisture, sun exposure, and general wear.

The finished project improved both the appearance and functionality of the outdoor area. The lattice adds structure, privacy, and decorative value while being durable enough to handle outdoor conditions. New vinyl window and door trim was installed to provide a clean, modern finish. Each piece was measured, cut, and secured for a precise fit around the openings. After installation, all trim was properly primed and painted to ensure durability and a smooth, professional appearance.

In addition to the trim work, the surrounding walls were prepped and painted, creating a seamless transition between the trim and wall surfaces. The combination of fresh paint and new trim gives the space a polished, updated look while also protecting the materials for long-lasting performance.

Today I completed the installation of new windows and plywood panels. I started by removing the old windows, carefully taking out the frames and cleaning the openings to prep for the new units. After checking for level and square, I installed the new windows, sealed them properly, and secured them in place.

Once the windows were in, I moved on to installing plywood panels. I measured and cut each sheet to fit snugly, then attached them securely using screws and construction adhesive. I made sure all edges were flush and seams tight to ensure structural strength and a clean finish.

The job took some time, but everything turned out solid and weather-tight. One step closer to finishing up this project.

Today I installed the fascia board, soffit, and gutter system on the building. I started by securing the new fascia boards along the roofline, making sure everything was straight and level. Once the fascia was in place, I moved on to the soffit panels, cutting them to size and fitting them snugly underneath the eaves for proper ventilation and a clean look.

After the soffit was installed, I attached the gutter brackets and mounted the gutter along the fascia. I made sure to maintain the proper slope for drainage and connected the downspouts securely. All joints were sealed, and the system was tested to ensure proper water flow.

Everything came together well, and the exterior now looks clean, protected, and ready for any weather.
