What do we do in a house that has no closets? We get creative! Custom built-ins installed this week in Mongaup Valley provide lots of drawers, hanging and shelving space where there was none. Work done: Primary bedroom wall unit, secondary bedroom wall unit, and a downstairs alcove.

Love the way this Mudroom Wall Unit came out today in this Parksville home, filling all the space and giving each family member their own section. The mix of open and closed areas keeps it from overwhelming the small entryway. Features soft-close shaker doors in a textured "Fort Grey" finish.

An Ellenville pantry closet features a butcher block countertop and soft-close undermount pull outs. Special side rail hardware allows the drawers to be easily adjustable!

Today's project: Country home in Callicoon needed to make full use of this walk-in closet while working around a window and angled walls. Lots of shelves, lots of hanging (different lengths for different clothing), and plenty of drawers. An overhanging top cap shelf for extra storage space. And a mirror - but one that can conveniently store away until needed!
