Today is about honoring the men and women who gave their lives in service to this country. People who left their homes and their families so that the rest of us could continue to live comfortably.

From our small corner, we want to say thank you. Thank you to the neighbors, veterans, and friends who keep their memories alive by sharing stories, raising flags, and showing up for one another year after year.

Many of the folks we deliver to, the homes we heat, and the businesses we serve have deep ties to the military. Fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and friends. Their service is woven into the fabric of these communities, and the loss of those who never came home is felt in every town up and down our routes.

So today, take a quiet moment. Say a name out loud. Place a flag. Tell a story. Teach a kid why this day matters and why the freedom to gather with the people we love came at a cost we can never repay.
