The 2nd Twilight Seminar in our 2026 series, presented by Mary Ann, Janine, and Jan, features a topic requested by many of our customers. Entitled "Planting Perfect Pots," it will include a wealth of tips from selecting the right pot to using appropriate potting soil, choosing fertilizer and possible insecticides, selecting plants and deciding on plant placement, care tips, etc. We have discussed this topic in the past but it has been several years since that presentation. It is a popular subject since a high percentage of annuals sold this time of year are for use in pots. This program will be full of up-to-date ideas. Pugster 'Sorbet' Dwarf Butterfly Bush
A new dwarf butterfly bush this year from Proven Winners is Pugster 'Sorbet.' It grows only 24" to 36" tall and wide with a tidy and rounded habit. The spiky blooms begin as white flowers but gradually change to a soft purple. Butterflies love them!

'Darkest Night' butterfly bush has large purple-black blooms, which are upright and slightly forward-facing. It thrives in heat and drought, is very fragrant, and grows 48" to 72" tall.

'Raspberry Ripple' Echinacea is a perennial sporting large, fully-double 4.5" blooms with wide, overlapping petals. This raspberry-pink flower with a dark center grows 22" to 26" tall with strong well-branched stems that easily hold the flower heads up.
