Well it's already been a week since State Wrestling and I took time to reflect on the 2022 wrestling season and the 2022 State Wrestling Tournament just to remember how proud I am to be called coach by this group of young men. They truly left everything they had out there all season and state weekend. They battled to knock off highly ranked opponents, battled from behind, battled through adversity and battled through the winning and losing rounds which makes the sport of wrestling the best. To the 7️⃣ who hit the podium, Congratulations! You have made a name for yourself and left your mark forever on Cedaredge High's Wrestling Wall of Fame. No one can ever take that from you now! To the boys who came up short, I want you to know I never left mat side at state feeling as if you didn't give it your all. We may have made some mistakes or been out matched but I was still proud to be coaching a Cedaredge Bruin! I want to thank Cedaredge High and it's Admin for supporting the wrestling team with what we do, the community and our season sponsors for their continued support of toughness and the parents for everything you do for your son throughout the season. It was a great season and a lot to be proud of!
