Happy, happy birthday to Jillian — my right hand girl at the farm! 🌸

Because of her willingness to dive in, get her hands dirty, and truly learn the art of growing flowers, we experienced an abundance of blooms this season. She is hardworking, eager to learn, and pours her whole heart into everything she does. Along the way, she discovered a passion for pressing flowers — and is she ever talented.

I’ve been so blessed to spend countless hours working side by side with this young lady who carries such an old soul. Jillian, I hope this year brings you as much beauty as you’ve helped grow here on the farm. Thank you for your dedication, your creativity, and all the love you give to this place. 💛

❄️ It may be snowy, but our farm stand is warm and stocked with fresh baked sourdough bread today! 🍞

Our little co-op is filled with goodness from local farmers and artisans — duck eggs, homemade jams & jellies, local honey, handmade jewelry, purses & bags, hand-painted cards, and beautiful dried flowers. There’s truly a gift for every budget, and we even make it easy with ready-to-go gift bags.

Baked fresh each week by Helen our homemade sourdough is made with high-quality, freshly milled wheat and simple ingredients you can feel good about. Fresh milling preserves more flavor and nutrients, creating a loaf that’s hearty, wholesome, and deeply satisfying. Each loaf is naturally fermented for exceptional texture, digestibility, and that classic sourdough tang. With a crisp, golden crust and a soft, flavorful interior, it’s perfect for slicing, toasting, or enjoying warm with butter.

We offer pre-orders so you can guarantee a fresh loaf each week. Pre-orders must be purchased by Tuesday at noon for Friday pickup at Gypsy Chicks and Blooms Farm Stand in Montrose, Colorado (Fridays from 10–5). Your name will be placed on your loaf for easy pickup. Any remaining loaves will be available first come, first served.
