I didnt do too bad y'all! It was a ton of fun getting to see all the different plants and flowers (if was a flower show mainly with a horticultural division for all plant types as well).

1. Gymnocalycium mihanovichii f. Cristata (2nd cactus)
2. Oeceoclades calcarata, succulent orchid (2nd orchid)
3. Dioscorea elephantipes (3rd succulent)
4. Schizobasis intricata (2nd succulent)
5. Pachypodium cactipes (1st succulent)

I'm a terra cotta guy. I dont do decorative pots.

BUT

Every once in awhile a pot seems made for a plant. This frog made by Carol Wichern, owner of Friendly Valley Studio, has derpy eyes and hes perfect. The plant is Senecio pendulus (inch worm cactus) that normally pops up then bends over and smacks back into the ground. It kind of worms around and does all sorts of fun stuff.

This one was being prop'd in a small pot next to the side of the table. It popped up, went back down... and found air to keep going. It's had a couple pups that I've pulled off to keep the aesthetic. Absolutely love the whimsy of this.

I'm basically sold out of the monkey puzzles I sowed last fall. I have a couple tiny ones left that sprouted super late....

Time to take some boobie cuttings and remember, dont judge. Not all b***s point the same way. 😅

Took a bunch of cuttings that'll dry in the shade for 3-7 days then go into damp soil (just enough moisture to leep the dust down). They'll go back into the shade in the greenhouse and in about 2-4weeks should have enough roots to go to market.

The 'weird' shaped Myrtillo geometrizans will all turn into graft stock. The trichocereus is standard pachanoi (used to be variegated, grew out of it).
