On a side note, I'm so glad to have had so many consecutive customers choose to keep the wood natural instead of covering it with paint. Poplar and birch are beautiful, it's always a little sad painting over nature's intricate brush work.

What was once a hollow, unused, unknown void underneath the stairs is now 3 of largest pantry drawers I've ever made. Each one is approximately 4'x5', and can hold around 300lbs.

I sat a jar of peanut butter in each photo as a reference for size comparison. 😂

I had the chance to do a partial renovation in a century old kitchen. The remainder will be done by the homeowner. It's wild cutting into walls that old, seeing all the layers and building techniques done by craftsman before I came along. Quite the challenge for such a seemingly simple job. 🧐

Not your average door install... 🧐

Anytime I have the chance to frame in a new door I do a couple thing's different from the typically builder, thing's you may not notice without tearing everything apart.

1. All framing is perfectly plumb, and all measurements are perfect. This allows the door jamb to be glue and screwed directly to the studs instead of using shims and wood scraps to create proper spacing and alignment.
2. I use doors that are NOT pre-hung. This means I can craft a custom door jamb, place the hardware wherever best suites the customer, and apply a higher quality finish paint job.

"Necessity is the mother of invention."

Sheds are nothing new, but maybe mine could be... The most obvious design feature is the passthrough design which utilizes two walls that completely raise and lower using industrial linear actuators. This turns 144 sq ft of covered space into 272 sq ft of covered space, perfect for outdoor parties or craftsman with a need for additional shop space, with unlimited material feed length capacity, hence the passthrough design.

Here are some design features that make this shed unique:
- Permit free. Stays within the 12'x12'x12' maximum dimensions for buildings not requiring permits.
- Tall ceilings. 10'7" of usable ceiling height.
- Monopoly style, using a continuous, unbroken insulation/vapor barrier with closed cell rigid foam, and no rafter overhangs.
- 2x6, 16oc, framing. Using exposed cabinet grade sheathing for a much more refined look than the usual exposed OSB.
- All metal exterior, you choose the color.
- And lastly, one of the most unique features, are the two ultra lightweight, extremely high strength 2in foam core panels that create the raising wall panels.
- Add windows, doors, cabinetry etc.
