I would ask that everyone that sees this post would repost. The North Western part of North Carolina. They did not just get a little rain. They were devastated. Most people in the US, have no clue what happened or that it happened. The media is not covering it, social media is blocking/burying everything. There are entire cities that are gone, washed out. It truly looks like a war zone. They need help. Our government has done nothing. Literally, there is military base an hour or so way, they have everything that this area needs. The soldiers stationed there want to come help, they could not because they never received orders from the White House. 8 days into this they finally sent a 1000 troops. Or so we were told. We were here helping for a week and saw 8 military vehicles. The whole week and we were all over the area! There is something wrong here guys and gals. I have talked to people that had no idea. They are not seeing anything on social media, or the news! If this was your family, your community, or your home what would you want? Where the "" government has shown up they have kicked local disaster relief and local volunteers out and have taken the supplies donated. They are not working with the locals nor do they seem to be concerned with the people. This is unacceptable!
