Spring is here! We in the Anderson Family love spring but we don't overly love the heavy rain that comes with it. This is the time to be mindful of flood prevention if your home has a crawl space or basement. The purpose of the sump pump is to pump away ground water that finds its way under your home. You may ask "What are the warning signs of a sump pump getting ready to fail?" The answer is "there are no warning signs." Most plumbers advise replacing sump pumps older than 5 years old BEFORE an issue takes place rather than after. Spread the word along and remember, we're here to treat you like family!

Here's a little "Tuesday Tip." With temperatures dropping below freezing, make sure your hose is disconnected from your outside spigot. If the hose is left on the faucet over the winter, the chances of the spigot freezing and busting are greatly increased. Spring time is when plumbers replace more spigots than any other season.
