Collected, not coordinated.

If you’ve been waiting for permission to mix the old with the new, different wood tones, vintage furniture, refinished pieces, and decor that doesn’t come as a matching set… this is it.

I love a home that feels collected over time — where vintage furniture can live right alongside something brand new, where the pieces don’t match perfectly but the colors, textures and personality make everything work together.

Because your home shouldn’t look like a showroom. It should look like you.

And yes… sometimes that means a beautiful vintage piece stays in its original wood finish. 😉

We need your help with this one!

This hutch just landed at Sweetbay, and before we start the makeover, we want YOU on the design team.

Keep the wine glass holder or take it off?
Keep the ornamental trim or simplify it?
And most importantly… WHAT COLOR?!

It’s currently cream with a gray top, but we know this piece has potential—and we want to hear what you see!

I’m a Gen X, boy mom, small business owner who gets way too excited about furniture transformations, supporting local makers, pretty things with a story… and occasionally putting my dogs in the content whether they asked for it or not.

Flippin’ Friday ✨

This little cabinet had good bones… it just needed a fresh start.

A little paint, a little patience, and a whole new look—and now we’re loving the mix of the rich wood top, deep green finish and textured door.

The best part about refinishing vintage furniture? Taking a piece that feels dated and giving it a whole new purpose.

Nightstand? End table? Bar cabinet? Entry piece? You decide.
