We designed this pool bathroom with its own entrance, giving family and guests easy access from the pool without having to traipse through the house with wet feet and towels.

Plenty of storage, durable finishes and everything you need for a quick trip to the loo or to freshen up, whilst still feeling just as considered as the rest of the home.

Practical, beautiful and designed around how the family actually lives.

It’s all in the details.

I love how the different textures in this kitchen work together, from the handmade-look tile and beautiful stone to the soft window treatment and warm brass.

Everything has its own moment, but nothing is fighting for attention.

Proof that a neutral palette certainly doesn’t have to be boring.

We’d like to introduce our newest team member, Dani, our Operations & Social Media Manager!

Originally from New York, Dani has called the Charlotte area home for the past 13 years. A creative at heart, she has always had a love for social media, storytelling and bringing ideas to life.

Before joining MK Interior Design Co, Dani spent over four years working in the publishing industry alongside authors, helping them grow their social media presence. She’s now bringing that creativity to MK, from keeping things organised behind the scenes to brainstorming content, capturing our projects and convincing us to take part in the occasional funny Reel!

When she’s not working her social media magic, Dani is a mum of three. She loves baking sourdough, hiking and is an avid reader who can almost always be found with a book nearby.

We’re so excited to have Dani as part of the MK Interior Design team and can’t wait for you to see more of what she’ll be bringing to MK!

Boundaries don’t make me difficult to work with, they make me a better designer.

Over the years, I’ve learnt that saying no, slowing things down, asking the right questions and occasionally saying “I’m not convinced” are all part of creating a home that truly works.

Because good design isn’t about saying yes to everything. It’s about making thoughtful decisions, protecting the process and getting the details right.

And sometimes, the best thing I can do for a client is gently steer them in a different direction.
