Union County Community Garden Coalition UCCGC helps create gardens at schools, senior citizen's centers, churches, and low income areas. We teach people how to grow, prepare and preserve food.

The Union County Community Garden Coalition is an initiative sponsored by the Union County Fiscal Court that creates partnerships between local organizations, businesses, and interested individuals to form community gardens at schools, churches, senior citizen's centers, and low income areas. The Garden Coalition is a unique partnership between the Union County Fiscal Court and the Appalachian Coal Country Team - sponsored by the AmeriCorps-VISTA program and the Office of Surface Mining.
