Our Story
Hillside Greenhouse was founded in 1984 and remained a family run business for 35 years. This fall Larry retired and the business/location was available. New owners, Jen Plum and Paige Lancaster, are a mother-daughter team and have re-branded Hillside as the The Plant Cult. We intend to bring you the same great annuals, perennials, and veggies offered by Hillside in the spring and summer. This spring you will also find trees, shrubs, ground covers and more added to the menu. During the winter months we have taken our love for houseplants, exotics, tropicals, and rare hard to find plants to the shelves of our store. We also offer locally created art and products in an effort to collaborate with our friends, families, and local businesses. We are the Plant Cult, a home for the plant obsessed!
