🌿 We are pleased to welcome Lisa McDavid as the newly appointed WVNLA Secretary.
Lisa, owner of Lisa’s Gardenscapes and long-time WVNLA board member, agreed to assume the duties of Secretary when a recent bylaw revision created the need.

🌿 We also want to take a moment to recognize Pat Biafore, who has concluded his service on the WVNLA Board after an incredible 18 years of dedication to West Virginia's green industry.

Pat Biafore is Vice President of Biafore Landscape Development, LLC, in Morgantown. He has served in many capacities during his years on WVNLA’s board, including president. We sincerely appreciate his devotion.

It takes committed, passionate people to keep an association strong — and we are grateful for everyone who steps up to serve. Thank you. 💚

🎓 WVNLA is investing in the future of West Virginia's green industry.

We are pleased to announce a $5,000 research grant donation to WVU's Davis College of Natural Resources & Agriculture, supporting Horticulture and Landscape Architecture research.

This year's grant recipients are Dr. Stefania Staniscia, Dr. Sven Verlinden, and Dr. Judith Wasserman, three researchers whose work is helping advance the science and education that keeps West Virginia's green industry moving forward.

Research drives progress, and WV's green industry is stronger when we invest in the people and institutions behind it. WVNLA is proud to support the Davis College team and the next generation of professionals they're training.

Congratulations to Dr. Staniscia, Dr. Verlinden, and Dr. Wasserman. We're honored to be a partner in your work. 🌿
