With everyone dumping their herds, here’s some red flags to look for when buying goats:
🚩 “Proven buck” but can’t provide pictures of his offspring.
🚩 “Can be a bottle baby” AKA its dam raised and you get to go through the circus of transitioning the kid to a bottle.
🚩 “She’s a heavy producer” but can’t provide udder pictures.
🚩 “Will come to a grain bucket” AKA this goat is a psycho😂

Y’all, with a baby on the way, getting woken up by a rooster in the morning has lost its charm😅 I think the neighbors cat is teasing him… anyway I am going to put my chicken breeding project on hold for a while. These pregnancy hormones have me looking up fried chicken recipes😬😂

In the meantime, I may be interested in getting a few egg layers instead.
