❄️ Freeze Warning – Be Prepared ❄️
With winter weather coming in, now is the time to protect your plumbing.
✅ I have freeze mizers available and can install them on outside spigots quickly.
They automatically drip when temperatures drop to help prevent frozen or burst pipes.
Non frost-free outdoor faucets need a freeze mizer installed during freezes
What everyone should do before the freeze
• Disconnect all hoses from outdoor faucets
• Leave cabinet doors open under sinks on exterior walls
• When dripping faucets, drip BOTH hot and cold. A lot of people only drip one side — both lines can freeze.
• Faucets not on an exterior wall usually do not need to be dripped if they’re on a slab or a well-insulated crawl space.
• If your washing machine connections are on an exterior wall, unhook the hoses and drip both hot and cold — this is one of the most common places I see pipes freeze and bust.
• Make sure crawl space vents are closed. If they don’t close, cardboard placed in front of them can help block cold air.
If you need freeze mizers installed or have questions about protecting your pipes, feel free to message or call.
