Today we wrapped up a beautiful interior paint job at Lisbon Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lisbon, Il.

This historic space needed some updates! The client chose Holly Glen to complement the gorgeous stained glass windows and freshly refinished hardwood floors (shout out to Hardwood Floors by Chad Shenberg, they look AMAZING!).

Large spaces like these take patience and the right equipment, but the payoff speaks for itself! It’s always an honor to work on a space that means something to the community. This one turned out beautifully!

This weather has been all over the place lately! But, that’s Illinois..

We’re starting to line up exterior projects, but this time of year always comes with a little flexibility built in (rain days, cold snaps, all the fun stuff).

This was a fun one! Our previous client called and asked us to tackle another project for them. They had the idea of extending the wall color onto the ceiling! Crazy, right? Or is it? We love how it turned out and are always happy when the homeowner wants to move in a more creative and imaginative direction!

Last exterior project of the year and this old garage has earned every bit of it.

It’s about 80 years old, it was probably last stained 20 years ago, and it’s showing every year of it.

The door, siding, and trim all got some new life!Heres to another 80 years!

The color is Sherwin Williams Cajun Red!

“Just wanted to jump in here with a comment.This is the third time I have hired someone to paint our house. Mr. Adams of Adams Painting is the only one who used a brush and carefully - very carefully - painted up against frames for door and windows. His pressure washing was precise and he even said he would re-cauk before painting. His first time here he did walls but could not do the decks because the trees were dropping seeds which would have stuck in the paint. And I replaced 15 boards on the large deck. He painted the rest but not the fifteen because pressure treated boards need six months to depressurize. So he will be back next spring for an hour. While painting the deck he painted the plastic latice which I had said to leave because previous painters disassembled the frame and damaged it. He did a spotless job on the lattice and its different color frame without removing them.
He has a pleasant personality and his price was less than the others. We were lucky we picked him. Oh yes, he painted our metal window casements perfectly. We are so proud of his job here!”
