We’re back after a few weeks of volunteer trail work and riding in Mascota, Mexico. It’s as beautiful as ever, though a little more exciting this time. See more of the story on Brooke’s Instagram page.

Regional trail builder and his friend took the long way there from the ocean and we got to spend a day on the trails. Peter Boccaccio Parker showed us more of the potential routes in his elaborate trail network and we did some finish work on a trail he’s building. Golo Zovic brought us to one of the best raicilla distilleries in Jalisco and we partied with our friends from CO. We always want to spend more time and there’s plenty of good work to be done. It’s nice to help a little and we’ll be back next year. ✌️❤️🇲🇽

We’re heading to Echo Lake Rhode Island this spring to build a new trail network for RI NEMBA!

The new six-mile trail system at Echo Lake will bring berms, jumps, and gravity-focused riding to Rhode Island—a region where riders currently drive two hours just to find flow.

We’ve been cranking on a few projects in different regions this fall. Southern VT and New York mostly. More exciting news coming in the spring for a couple of them. Here’s some of what we’ve been building and seeing lately!

Back in September we finished a rowdy trail through the rock zone under the lift at . It starts with this rock drop and leads into a quick hitting series of drops, berms, and jumps.

One trail with two entrances and names… Maybe Later features this drop and leads from Crusher to Bermie Sanders. Mittens is the lower part of the trail and is an alternative to the middle section of Bermie. Both fun ways to mix up laps at Stratton.

Check out the video of the trail crew shredding it in our story.

Look for one more wild new trail to be opened on the other side of the mountain next spring. 🤘

It’s been great to hear from friends that have been out to ride the new Wolcott Community Forest trail network. Here’s our crew of 6 that built the trails and a few more photos of the beautiful mossy forest.

It was a privilege to weave our trails through this landscape and we made it a priority to preserve the moss, ferns, and natural characteristics of the forest. Many of the trails are hand built to reflect that goal and give a more rustic trail experience.

We also hosted a few volunteer work days and had a committed group of locals come out to lend a hand in the process. Plus a couple days of hard digging in the heat of the summer from our southern VT crew members. Crew members pictured are Owen, Jesse and Bludo, Sterling, Abby, Matt, and Brooke. Not pictured are Mariah, Ryan, and Avery. Thanks to everyone involved who made this build a success!

The and Town of Wolcott are hosting an opening celebration on September 13th at 10 am. Message us for details and a link to RSVP. We’ll be posting trail signs and maps soon too.

Our biggest project of the season has been developing a 5 mile trail network in the new Wolcott Community Forest in northern Vermont. After a couple years of planning, design and permitting, we spent 3 months with a crew of 6 to create a low impact, very fun, and highly aesthetic trail experience. The land was recently conserved by the , so environmental stewardship was a primary focus.

It’s a multi-use network planned in coordination with the Wolcott Town Forest Committee, but we’ve made sure it’s bike optimized where appropriate. Connections to the Wolcott Elementary School were also a strong component of the project and they have an ongoing youth biking program. We’ve done our best to capture the essence in photos and will be getting some video clips soon too.

The trails have yet to be named and maps are still being finalized. But the trails are done and riding well. The trailhead is located on E Elmore Rd just past Flat Iron Rd. If you get out there, let us know what you think and share any trail name suggestions!

Whew it’s been a busy summer! Here’s the first of a few exciting projects to share. This is an adaptive bike optimized pump track at the Barre Town Forest trailhead.

We incorporated a big slab of granite from the historic quarry days and capped the track with crushed granite. It was fun to test ride with the adaptive bike! Thanks to everyone involved in this project.

Our first project of the spring was a walking trail and bike flow trail on a beautiful private property in CT.
It all fit nicely together on this unique rolling landscape. We incorporated a road gap with a long, fast runout that leads to an uphill berm to end the lap. Building the boardwalk next to a primrose wetland zen garden was a highlight to wrap up the work.
