Dear friends and valued customers, We have some bittersweet (mostly sweet!) news to share with you all! After much thought and happy memories we’ve made the decision to close our cute plant shop in downtown Mt. Dora. Recently, we were blessed to build and move into a new home for our family. Over the course of moving these last few weeks, it really hit us how much we have been missing our weekends at home together. Our children are getting older and realizing we have only a few short years left with them at home, we are looking to have a little bit more of our family time back. We know and trust that God puts these feelings in our hearts and how important it is for us to act on them.
Now, here’s the neat part! Just as we are feeling the draw to spend more time at home and not as small business owners, our sweet friend and fellow downtown Mount Dora shop owner, Jess with Panache by Vintage Rose was feeling the desire to expand her business. Funny story! Jess is actually the one who moved into our smaller shop in the alley when we were ready to move into our larger space on 4th Ave…so it’s only fitting that she’s the one again to move into this larger space! We are confident you will LOVE her beautiful shop! She carries amazing and unique things from all over the world in her store. And, you’ll be happy to see a few of our pieces mixed in with hers. She will be carrying the Everlasting Candles that you all have LOVED here over the years! She will also be implementing a few new experiences for those that come in to shop- we cannot wait to see what she does!
We want to thank you all for your support and friendship over the last few years! It has meant the world to us. We will be keeping up with our tax certificates so we can continue to buy our plants at wholesale prices and continue to do special plant design jobs for our friends, family and customers- so if you need anything- reach out to us!
We’re not sad, because we're so proud of what we've built together, and we're excited for what's next. Chances are you will still see us out and about enjoying our downtown area now that we will have a little more time!
With that being said, we are closing quickly, before Christmas! To celebrate our time together, we'll be having a final "Thank You & Goodbye" sale starting NOW with great deals on everything in the store. We'd love to see you one last time to say farewell!
