It’s been a while since I’ve posted as I’ve been so busy with jobs, coaching soccer and being a parent. Anyhow, here’s a little bench I made for a customer for their front garden. Made with pressure treated lumber and stained with a solid colored stain that is easy to make look weathered to the customers preference.

I absolutely love going to my clients houses to do jobs, but I will say that I’m really enjoying doing wood work projects that I can do off site. I’ll have pictures of another clients floating shelves that I’ve been making for their newly renovated kitchen in the next few days!

Repeat customer had me over for a few small jobs, including a floating shelf install that had already been purchased. The shelf definitely gave me a run for my money and made me improvise, as it needed to be installed over a very nice fireplace with uneven brick. Very happy with the outcome and I left knowing exactly what I’ll do for the next customer who has a similar install!

Customer inquired about a deck demolition thinking it wasn’t salvageable. New deck boards, a lot of railing and step reinforcements, some really good solid colored stain and good as new!!

A cosmetic drywall repair and sistering of a stud led to sheathing repair due to being able to see out the siding, new sill plate, jack stud replacements, full drywall job and replacement of baseboards. No shortcuts here! Came out nice.

Back when remodeling was just a hobby. Really happy with how our two bathroom project turned out, especially the solid oak bottom of a china cabinet transitioned into vanity. Second floor bathroom remodel while adding a brand new third floor master bath needing floor joist reinforcements, leveling and wall framing! Only parts of the job hired out was the rough in plumbing (Wittmaier Plumbing) and electrical (Ken Sturtevant Electrical LLC).

I’d like to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out to me, referred me to a friend, family member or just someone asking for a referral on a community page and to everyone who has simply asked me how my new venture has been going. The trust that my customers have put into me so far because of what people who do know me have said is extremely humbling and has made my transition into being a small business owner so satisfying! Drywall/wall stud repair after termite treatment. While prepping for a clean drywall install, I came across a live termite. Job put on hold until the customer has the exterminator treat again.

I have a few small power washing jobs later this week that I will make sure get scheduled on the same day. I do not do whole house power washing. I offer power washing of patios, porches, decks, sidewalks, driveways, foundation walls, outside furniture and kids toys/play areas. $100 job alert!! New home owner had issues with kitchen cabinet toe kicks not mounted, dishwasher not secure and sink base cabinet shelf water damage. Their only quote prior to calling me was $500. I was able to use some scrap wood to perfectly mount the toe kicks onto, secure the dishwasher from the side as it was missing its mounting clips and then saved them cash by realizing their dishwashers access plate was the right one but the wrong color. Spray painted it black making it look much better to hold them over until the old unit eventually gets replaced. Removal of the cabinet shelf found that whoever did this kitchen decided to put cabinets on top of an AC vent, causing the moisture which was laziness at its finest. Kept the area open for now so that the air can flow until they get an HVAC specialist out.
