We are so so proud of our little man!! 🎉🎉 He officially completed his 6 weeks of swimming lessons & can now swim, float, swim!! 🙌💙 (and did a little dive to finish it off with a big splash 💦 )

A HUGE thanks to Amber for harnessing our fearless boy’s curiosity & love for water to teach him independent skills that will keep him safe in the water! 🫶 Skills before thrills! 🤙

Parents, drowning is the number 1 cause of death in kiddos age 4 and under. Floating is not an innate skill & I highly recommend as she works with your child one-on-one to teach them how to self-rescue in the water. 👏👏

Our Buff Orpington, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom , has gone broody & is now in “jail” until she cools down.

If you don’t have a rooster or any fertilized eggs, brooding can be dangerous for our hens. When a hen goes broody, she will want to collect all the eggs & sit on them in the nest determined to keep them warm until they hatch. I love her determination, but they only leave the nest once a day to eat, drink & poo. In this heat, that can be dangerous. They can dehydrate, lose weight, condition & stop laying eggs.

Hogging the nest box and super feisty behavior in an otherwise sweet hen ate some signs of a broody hen. In order to break her broodiness, we need to keep her away from the nest and get her to cool down so her hormones balance back out. Therefore, broody breaker jail. This should only take a few days to get her back to her normal self. 🤍

🌿promotes relaxation + sleep (I’m looking at you toddler moms 😅)

Jesus did not die to start a religion. He died + rose again to start a relationship! 🤍

He paid the price on the cross + now the grave is empty so we can have a personal relationship with God + look forward to life everlasting with him! ✨

Thankful that it's not about what I have or haven't done or whether I'm good enough or a better person that gets me into heaven. It is ONLY based on what Jesus has done for us on the cross. We are saved by grace through faith in Him! 🙌

He had you on His heart when He conquered the grave. No matter what you've done or how far you feel you've gone... if you believe in Him, put all your trust in Him + what He's done for you personally, you can rest assured you will go to heaven. And you can have a bit of heaven on earth as you lean into a personal relationship with God, our loving Father. 🤍
