Just scrolling through my camera roll trying to find something to paint the other day, and I landed across this awesome arrangement done by Anna Dolan
Anna did this arrangement for my grandmother for her birthday in 2025 because I loved how unique and thoughtful her florals were. Little did I know, that would be the last time I ever got her birthday flowers (something I tried to do every year). I randomly picked this picture to experiment with to paint - totally forgetting what it was, but it was pretty. It took me about a week to realize that’s what it was. Now Anna is doing my wedding flowers, and I couldn’t be more excited for her skill and artfulness to fill the church and the reception. I just wish I got to share her flowers with Grammy again. Life has been really rough in 2026, but little God winks like this are healing. Thanks for reading my sob story on this hot Sunday - now off to DC to do all the things Grammy loved to do in her home! 🌸✈️💚🏛️
