Shying away from trends, we focus on timeless, functional design tailored to each project. Why didn’t we do this sooner?”

A great designer doesn’t just bring your vision to life, they elevate it —spaces that make you say, “WOW. I have 10 years experience as an interior designer and project manager for high-end residential, commercial and hospitality projects. Through the years I've worked on a wide range of projects including - residential homes and condos in Mt Pleasant, several large scale homes on Kiawah Island, a

n expansive 10,000 sqft home in Connecticut, large commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, banks, and even a handful of boutique hotels in Charleston. I can make your residential or commercial project beautiful one space at a time, even one wall at a time working within your budget. My passion for interior design comes from the desire to create beautiful spaces for clients that are filled with color, texture, style and function.

There’s something special about taking a family heirloom—worn, loved, and full of history—and giving it new life. Whether it’s refinishing, painting, or reupholstering, these pieces become even more meaningful when restored instead of replaced.

To me, a home feels far more interesting when it’s layered with an eclectic, well-traveled, and thoughtfully acquired collection rather than everything being brand new. Maybe it’s because I grew up watching my mom import antiques, or maybe it’s because every heirloom carries a story you simply can’t recreate.

The best part? Great design is never about what I would choose—it’s about creating a home that feels like my client. Their story, their style, their legacy.

Part of my favorite thing about design is the challenge. What’s supposed to be a straight forward install doesn’t always go as planned—and that’s where creativity steps in.

We ran into one of those moments on my Seabrook island project. The original plan was to keep the existing pine floors, but the stain just wouldn’t take the way my client hoped or wanted. The client loved the new floors in the nearby bedrooms so much that she decided to replace them altogether… but there was one big issue: the waterfall edge had already been installed.

That left us with two options—remove the countertop edges (and risk potential damage) or find a creative way to work with the gap.

So, we found a solution.

We’ve used bullnose trim before to elevate countertop edges and achieve that thick, mitered look we all love… so why not use it as a liner to cover the gap? And it worked beautifully.

Huge gratitude to my client—and especially the installer —for trusting the process and being open to trying something unexpected. Sometimes, those “happy accidents” turn into the best outcomes. 🙌🏻

My son Oliver asked for a room refresh for his birthday—and with homeschool starting in August, it was the perfect opportunity to rethink function and fun in a small footprint.

I chose loft bunk to maximize every inch: built-in desk, dresser, and bookshelf = smart storage and room to grow. Truly the Tetris of kids furniture. A black-and-white wool rug grounds the space, while raccoon wallpaper, sheets, bean bag, and playful accents bring his personality to life.

My favorite detail? The Fiona Walker animal heads above the dresser—reused from his big brother Gunnar’s nursery. Sentimental pieces always tell the best stories. Paired with photos of our own pet raccoons Lulu and Ms. Pickles, this room feels uniquely him.

Proof that great design isn’t about size—it’s about intention, function, and meaning. 🦝🦝

Sometimes inspiration arrives when you least expect it.
Mine struck at High Point Furniture Market, while walking through a high-end luxury showroom and spotting an unexpected light suspended from the ceiling. What appeared to be a bold installation choice quietly solved a problem I’d been wrestling with back home.

The original plan was to build an oak ceiling box to house three pendants by over the dining table—an island-inspired lighting moment. But with tight ceiling heights and no attic space above, the electrician flagged a challenge: the junction boxes would need to drop lower than we wanted.

Then it clicked.

Instead of hiding the limitation, i decided to lean into it—suspending a custom oak box from the ceiling as part of the design itself, using elongated chains reminiscent of the lighting installation I’d seen at High Point. What started as a constraint became the feature.

The result? A custom, art-forward lighting design with an effortless island feel. Proof that sometimes the best design moments come from solving the problem differently—and letting a “happy accident” lead the way. We are designers by day and problem solvers by night. 😆

Have a design problem you’re not sure how to solve? That’s where the magic happens. Let’s create something unexpected together. ✨
