Sometimes, as a business owner, you find yourself carrying more than just the workload. You carry the responsibility, the stress, the long days, and the pressure of making sure every job is done right.
For the last couple of years, our crew has consisted of just Chris and myself since my dad, Dale, retired. Finding good help isn't easy. Finding someone who takes pride in their work, shows up, works hard, and genuinely cares about doing the job right is even harder.

Chris has been a tremendous blessing to this company. His work ethic, loyalty, and commitment to quality have helped keep us moving through some very busy seasons, and I couldn't do what I do without him.
For months, I've been praying and asking God to send another good man or woman to help us. Someone trustworthy. Someone who cares. Someone who would fit our company and our values.

Last week, God answered that prayer.
A former employee, Victor, returned to help us, and the timing couldn't have been better. Victor is a hard worker, dependable, and takes pride in doing quality work. With the workload we've had, his return has been a huge blessing and has helped take some of the weight off my shoulders.

And while he's officially retired, my dad is still one of our biggest supporters. Whether it's stepping in to help on a job when we're short-handed, running to the paint store, or keeping my yard mowed, he's always there when I need him.

I'm exhausted. The days are long, and the workload is heavy. But I'm also incredibly thankful.

Thankful for Chris. Thankful for Victor. Thankful for my dad. Thankful for answered prayers.
Most of all, I'm thankful for Christ. This business is what it is because of Him. He has provided every step of the way, and He continues to give me the strength to keep going each day.
God is good, even in the busy seasons.

A lot of people see the finished product, but the real work happens long before the paint goes on.

This Post Office project required more than two weeks of preparation. We scraped, sanded, cleaned, caulked, and repaired countless areas before applying a full coat of primer and a coat of exterior gloss paint. We're also restoring all of the windows, with these photos showing the progress on the back side of the building.
The before and after difference is a testament to what proper preparation and attention to detail can accomplish.

Quality painting isn't just about the final coat. It's about taking the time to do it right from the start.
We're proud to be part of preserving and improving this beautiful building for the community.

This historic Post Office project has been all about the prep work.

For nearly two weeks, we've been focused on the soffit and fascia alone, scraping decades of failing paint, cleaning every surface, sanding damaged areas, and sealing countless cracks and joints.
So far we've used over 4 cases of caulk, and if you zoom in on the soffit photos, you'll see just how much detail work has gone into bringing this building back to life.

The finished paint will get the attention, but the preparation is what makes it last.

Historic buildings demand patience, craftsmanship, and a whole lot of time in the details. That's exactly where we've been.

Kitchen transformations like this are why we love what we do! 🙌

About a month ago, we gave these cabinets a fresh new look with Sherwin-Williams Aesthetic White in Emerald Urethane. Since then, the homeowners have completed the space with a beautiful real brick backsplash, quartz countertops, updated appliances, new hardware, and extended the cabinets all the way to the ceiling.

Not every project is a massive remodel or full exterior transformation.
