Good morning everyone. 2 FB posts in 2 days. WOW!! I think that’s record for me.
So I was thinkin about something that is relevant to most of us today. Money.
Please follow me here….
The cost of virtually everything has increased dramatically in the recent past. Not gonna go into the “why’s”. I have my own thoughts and feelings about that but the facts are the facts. Stuff is just more expensive today.
How do we deal with this? Well, we typically work more or borrow money or the other option is that we go without.
I don’t know about you, but going without is difficult. It seems, in my household at least where I have a teenage girl and a young man getting ready to graduate college (Thank God) that going without is growing more and more difficult. There is always the “I need….” The kids always “need” clothes or a dress for a dance, or money to goto the movies, or any number of other things.
Getting to my point. Thanks for sticking with me this far.
The reality from a parent’s perspective is that there is a finite amount of money and it is our job to be good stewards of that money. In addition to all of the “I needs” from the kids, our homes get personified and take on an “identity” of their own. I need a new hot water heater. I need new windows. I need new paint or I need a bandaid for the hole in one of my walls.
The final interesting thing is that we as homeowners like change. We enjoy new, clean, more functional spaces. We like when everything is in a good state of repair. It drives us crazy when we open the closet door and it falls of the tracks or when that door trim that has gotten all beaten up by kids and dogs and laundry baskets is just an eyesore.
Here’s my point, I can help you with most of this stuff. If I can’t, I have a network of guys in the trades(plumbers, electricians, painters, plasters, all sorts of guys) that would like to help you and they all do really great work.
The bottom line is this. Yes, things are expensive today, but the maintenance items, the little things don’t have to break the bank. I offer free estimates OR for bigger jobs, I do charge an estimate fee, but you get that back if you use me to do the work. I look at this as just the right way, the fair way to do business.
If you have any of those little annoying projects that have been on your list for a while, give me a call. Let’s get them done. I am not the cheapest in town, but I promise that I won’t quit until you are happy. Again, this is just the right way to do business in my opinion.
If I can be of service, give me a call or shoot a text. 717-881-9380.
Go have an amazing day and have a grateful heart.
