We have been enamored with all our Amesiella monticola budding into bloom. Endemic to Luzon, an island in the Philippines, this mountain dwelling species is only one of three in its genus. The plant itself is petite but produces flowers that are large by comparison, often producing multiple inflorescences that support several spurred flowers. Though classified as nocturnally fragrant, its floral perfume scent is still subtly present during the day.
