The one thing they all have in common is that they have beautiful fading in and out quality some people call modeling. The subtle and not so subtle difference to the trained eye are FELT when you walk in the room and when you TOUCH the wall. Here are some basics to start you off. Faux limewash- (aka colorwash) is done with paint. Limewash-the lime paint is made of lime and water. Roman Clay-check out for ingredients and info. Venetian Plaster is made of marble dust lime and water and it comes in many sheens. For more info call for a free estimate. Limewash and Venetian plaster are the more historic options. Venetian Plasters are the most beautiful.

What is Faux- limewash? It’s something I made up! It’s looks like limewash but done using 🎨 paint. It’s my own creative solution to get a less expensive, more durable, and easier to control the application.
