Coaster Strips LLC is a small, local business located in beautiful Mukilteo, Washington. We are a "green business", meaning we only use 100% recycled granite that other local companies are unable to use due to size. Whenever we are able, we reclaim wood from old decking or fencing and we refurbish it, making it look brand new and bringing out the grain once more. Although it was originally created
to service a more "masculine" audience... The "Coaster Strip" still has the potential to curb the visual appetite of both men and women with its rugged, well-routed wood, or with its smooth and beautifully polished granite. The "Coaster Strip" first started as a hobby in a garage shop. The idea behind it was to take two different trades (granite fabrication and carpentry) and combine them to see what the result would be. Many different products started evolving, and eventually the "Coaster Strip" came into being. Of course some fine tuning was needed in order to make it a viable product, and soon after Coaster Strips LLC was created.
