We will continue to train, lead, challenge and reward their personal growth based upon each individual's contribution to our Team Work Effort. We are obligated to our Employees, Our Customers, our Sub Contractors and our Vendors, to provide an environment of mutual growth, prosperity and profitability." History: Founded in 1990 by Edward McCormick with a single backhoe, the company has grown tremendously and holds a solid reputation in the construction industry despite the vast advances in technology and the economic downturns. After Edward retired, his daughter Martha D. Moore took over the company and expanded further into the industry, eventually turning from private work to federal and highway contracts. We provide many services to our long list of satisfied clients. Owner/President- Martha D. Moore Bio: In 1990, Martha D. Moore began working on the company’s road crew as a roller operator in her father’s construction company. She advanced to the office manager and by 1999 owned one-half of the company. After her father retired, Martha took the company over in 2004 and expanded the customer base from small private work to highway and federal jobs. She has now been recognized with several awards that range from Family Owned Business of the Year in 2008 to Contractor of the Year. She holds a strong reputation in the construction industry as one of the leading woman owned businesses and strives to continue her success. She is committed to her community and her employees—providing quality employee benefits, one-hundred percent health insurance, and a 401k plan. When she is not running her business, Martha enjoys raising honey bees, singing in her church choir, and starting her very own “MJP House of Hope” to house women coming out of prison who are looking for a fresh start to life with an emphasis on Christianity and Faith.
