Hardscape Division Laborer — Experience is preferred but not a must for the correct person

We are looking to add a motivated employee to our hardscape division. We are looking for someone who is:
• Extremely hard working
• Responsible and dependable
• Respectful to customers and coworkers
• Able to stay focused and on task without constant supervision
• Willing to work outdoors in all conditions
Experience in landscaping, hardscaping, construction, or equipment operation is a plus, but a strong work ethic is the most important thing.
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Start time: 8:00 AM
Usually done around 5:00 PM (sometimes earlier, sometimes later depending on the job and the weather)
This position involves physical labor including lifting, digging, hauling materials, and building patios, retaining walls, walkways, and other outdoor projects.

Like it’s all the same green stuff coming out of a hose.

It’s not!

That’s like saying:

“Beef is beef.” 🐄

Sure… technically.

But there’s a big difference between a drive-thru burger 🍔 and a steakhouse ribeye. 🥩😂

someone is out there in it for 12+ hours straight.

Plowing. Salting. Shoveling. No sleep. Missing their family at home.
So the rest of us can get where we need to go safely.

Before you hop on your local FB group to complain, just think about that.
Behind every clear road is a long night.

⚠️ Our crews are out and have been out since 4am! If you are a customer of ours, the driver for your route is still planning on coming and in route, most of them are going through their accounts a second time!!! ⚠️

Our plow drivers run their routes throughout the night, and twice last night (into the early morning)! We have daytime drivers if you NEED to be plowed and you are a contracted customer! Call the office at (231) 766-0006 if you need daytime service.

The drivers for your route are currently sleeping so they can go back out as soon as possible. We are in Michigan, this is just a reminder that it is a blizzard with subzero temperatures… we do the BEST we can to keep your lots and driveways clean. Be patient with every plow driver as they are all trying their best to get through these next couple of weeks!
