Always fun to see where they crawl off to in order to pupate.

It's a Queen Butterfly! I thought from the chrysalis it was going to be a Viceroy.

Found one!

Been pretty quiet. There were about 20-30 tiny babies on my milkweed plants outside and I decided to leave them. The next day THEY WERE ALL GONE! Wasps? Lizards? It was so weird. I found a teensy one and took him into the garage on a plant, he ate daily and disappeared a week later. Guessing I'll have a Monarch butterfly flying around inside soon.
Also found this guy about a week ago and he will probably also go hide to pupate.
Great! Two butterflies in my garage, lol.
Very interesting that when I was filming him eating, he totally stopped moving at the sound of my voice.
