Using a garbage disposal helps to cut down on odors in garbage cans by preventing food from rotting in the trash can. For homeowners, this can mean a very large amount of food waste left to rot in the garbage. The garbage disposal is mounted to the underside of a sink and is designed to collect solid food waste in a grinding chamber. When you turn on the disposal, a spinning disc, or impeller plate, turns rapidly, forcing the food waste against the outer wall of the grinding chamber. The easiest manner to clean the disposal is to run hot water for 5-10 minutes down the drain, then turn it off. Pour baking soda down the disposal and pour vinegar down the disposal, allow the mixture to foam for 5 minutes, run the disposal. Run hot water for 5-10 minutes again.
We can get one installed for you today.
If you have power under your sink it eases the process if not we can install an outlet for your garbage disposal as well.
