We are hiring for Laborers and Operators.
Laborers should be able to run small equipment like blowers, read a tape measure, take direction well, and be able to lift 50lbs intermittently throughout the day.
A Skilled Operator will be trusted to run the guns on the back of paint trucks, operate equipment such as a detail hand cart, mini-mac, skid steer, and melters. You should be able to troubleshoot minor mechanical hiccups and have a decently high mechanical aptitude. Most of all, you should be adaptable, positive, and willing to learn. We can train skill. It's much harder to train a poor attitude.
Ideally you would have some road construction experience, but we will train anyone who shows initiative and is here to grow. The hours in the spring, summer, and fall are 55-70 hours while the winter drops to 40. Developing skills is rewarded. You can go from a laborer to a supervisor with us in about 3 years.... it won't be easy, but nothing worthwhile is.
