Who else is tired of driving down Nashville streets with so-called “traffic calming” interventions like old tires, metal spikes, and the ironically-named speed “cushions?” All of this is damaging cars and so very UGLY. From the information currently available, there has been an increase (NOT a decrease) in traffic fatalities since these new measures have been put into place. And narrowing streets to add faux bike lanes that are seldom used sure isn’t helping. Do you think this is all a band-aid for lack of actual police patrolling and law enforcement?

I know - not my normal content, but Nashville’s neighborhood roads are kinda being ruined. 😢

Preservation and restoration maintenance is an ongoing thing in our house. And sometimes it gives me an excuse to rename a room . . .
