If you saw my last post, you already know the story behind these Bonny-sur-Loire pottery crocks and butter pots.

Now they’ve made their way to the shop.

There’s something special about seeing them gathered together, their warm salt glazes and subtle varitstions giving them a presence that’s difficult to replicate with modern ceramics. They’re beautiful layered into shelves, kitchen displays, on dining tables, in empty corners, or anywhere that could use a little warmth and history.

You’ll find them now at my booth inside GasLamp Too 🤎

This antique swan sled is a perfect example of a time when utility and beauty weren’t considered separate things.

Every curve of the forged iron serves a purpose, but together they create something that feels almost architectural. It belongs to an era when even the most ordinary objects, like a child’s sled, were made with patience and pride, before efficiency became more valuable than craftsmanship.

More than a century later it still stands and commands attention. Not because it was created as art, but because true craftsmanship has found a way of becoming art with time 🕰️ 🤎

I’m so excited to finally share that I’ll be a vendor at the City Farmhouse ® Kim & David Fall Pop-Up Fair on November 13–14 at the Bicentennial Park Pavilion in Franklin!

The Summer Fling was such an incredible experience. From the crowds to the conversations to seeing so many of my favorite pieces find new homes, it reminded me exactly why I love doing this. That feeling isn’t something you really get from booths alone.. I left that weekend knowing I wanted to come back.

So for the fall show, I’m dreaming even bigger. I’ll be spending the next few months hunting for more one-of-a-kind antiques, statement pieces, and all the things that make a booth feel special. I can’t wait to share what I find and see so many familiar faces again this November! 🍂 🍁 🤎

These Bonny stoneware crocks and mini butter pots were made in Bonny-sur-Loire, a small village in central France with a long tradition of pottery production. Crafted from durable stoneware and finished in a warm honey-brown salt glaze, they were fired at high temperatures to create vessels sturdy enough for everyday farmhouse use, from preserving butter and confit to storing crocks of food in cool pantries.

This collection is believed to be new old stock, uncovered in an abandoned French warehouse after decades in storage. They were never put into service, which is why the glaze is still so rich and the interiors remain beautifully clean.

Today, they feel just as at home holding herbs on a kitchen counter, overflowing with seasonal blooms, or tucked into an English-style garden as they once did in the French countryside. Some pieces are even stamped with their original Bonny mark, a small reminder of where their story began.

These pieces have not had a first chapter yet, but will begin theirs in one of my spaces soon. 🪴
