Plain builder-grade porch posts have a way of bugging you every single time you pull in the driveway. These homeowners finally called it in, as the first phase of a bigger exterior plan. Our part: wrapping the porch posts and beams in clear cedar, and removing an octagon window that no longer fit the vision. That window was our proudest trick. New framing and carefully blended siding, so seamless you'd never know it existed. The stealthy tasks are often the trickiest. A full repaint by their painting crew came after, and the finished result speaks for itself. Fix what bugs you. 🛠 🏠
