One of my favorite parts of this work is finding real old-world pieces — the kind with actual age and character — and weaving them into someone’s everyday life. It takes time, the right sources, and a lot of patience, but it’s worth it: this fireplace wall is antique Tuscan farmhouse stone, and the beams overhead are century-old reclaimed wood from . In a world of cookie-cutter new builds, these are the details that make a house feel like it has a soul.
