As students head back to the classroom, we’re highlighting a project that helped create a welcoming outdoor environment at Carmen School in Milwaukee!

Trees On The Move was proud to collaborate with Catalyst Construction on this project, bringing the landscape to life and helping create outdoor spaces that students, staff, and families can enjoy throughout the school year.

There’s something especially rewarding about working on educational spaces. The landscapes we help build today become part of the places where students will learn, grow, connect, and create memories for years to come. 🌳

Today we're hitting pause on the workday to celebrate the people who make Trees On The Move what it is.

Our annual company picnic is one of our favorite traditions—a chance for our employees and their families to enjoy great food, fun, and time together as we celebrate another incredible season.

Please note that our office will close today at 10:00 AM so our team can enjoy the festivities.

When temperatures climb into the 90s and above, your trees and shrubs work overtime to stay healthy.

💧 During extreme heat:
• 🌳 Newly planted trees: Water deeply 2–3 times per week.
• 🌲 Established trees: Give them a slow, deep watering once a week if rainfall is limited.
• 🌅 Water early in the morning to reduce evaporation.
• 🌱 Check the soil 2–3 inches below the surface. If it's dry, it's time to water.
• 🍂 Keep 2–3 inches of mulch around the base (without touching the trunk) to help retain moisture and keep roots cool.

Remember: Deep watering is always better than frequent shallow watering. It encourages stronger, deeper root systems that can better withstand Wisconsin's summer heat.
