Busy couple of weeks! 6’ vinyl privacy fence install, lots and lots of stairs, grading jobs, pine siding and pine bead board ceiling install, floating deck install, installed flagstone walkway, and lots of cable railing and handrail installs coming!

Busy last 7-10 days! More composite decking, stairs, and cable railing in Sneads Ferry, Grading in Ayden for a new builder we got referred to by another builder we do landscaping for, bathroom building in Pamlico coming along several more coats of paint, electrical in, plumbing fixtures in, have some trim and touch up stuff and it will be in the done books! Handicap ramp, front and side porch steps completed, AC stand and power meter platform stand completed Smyrna Down East.

Dropped equipment off Sunday evening standing water and only pilings. Too wet on Monday to get in yard. Left today with 110lf handicap ramp done, decks, stairs, power stand, AC stand, 40 tons of sand placed under the home, yard rough graded. Thanks Shepherd Response and Matt Kirk for trusting us with this project. In a few weeks we will be back to finish concrete, final grade, seed and straw.

So we are doing decks and stairs on 4 homes in Sneads Ferry. This home is on a cul de sac and front yard on left corner is kinda small. The permanent stairs were suppose to go where temp stairs were in first picture. After we cut fist set of stringers we discovered stairs would be over the required set backs. After consulting with the PM we redesigned the stairs to enter through the deck and have all stairs in the already established foot print. After lots of measurements and checking all codes we carefully designed and built these beautiful composite stairs and they will be getting cable railings. Jason Devooght told us one time framers follow plans real carpenters build to the need and this was a real carpentry challenge and we loved every moment of the challenge. The last picture is a reverse image sister house we did last week.
