We completely regraded the yard to create a center swell, directing water safely out through the side yard where it belongs. ✔️

Retaining wall rebuild, landscaping upgrade, erosion repair, and outdoor lighting — all wrapped up on this project!

The original wall failed because it was built on a tiny, non-structural footing with absolutely zero drainage behind it. Over time, that pressure caused cracking, shifting, and serious erosion.

So we tore it out and rebuilt it the right way — with a properly engineered concrete footing, steel reinforcement, and a full drainage system to relieve hydrostatic pressure. We also repaired the erosion, upgraded the surrounding landscape, and added outdoor lighting to bring the whole space back to life.

This is what it looks like when a wall is built to last — not just look good.

The previous wall was built to fail — a 2” mortar footing instead of concrete, no rebar, no drainage, and nothing but straight fill dirt behind it. The result? The wall was pushing out, the staircase was cracking, and total failure was right around the corner. We tore it all out and started fresh, doing it the right way. We’re now prepping for a new wall with 8–12” concrete footers, an excess amount of rebar, and proper support from the ground up. This foundation is built to hold strong for years to come. Stay tuned — this transformation is just getting started. 💪🧱
